In collaboration with BeekeeperAI, our team embarked on a mission to enhance the user experience of their EscrowAI tool. This project aimed to streamline the UI and uncover critical workflow concepts to improve overall functionality and user satisfaction.

Process and Methodology

1. Wireframes and Prototyping:

   • Led by Lisa Liu, our team created detailed wireframes and prototypes to visualize the new UI.
   • Conducted iterative design sessions to refine the wireframes based on feedback.

2. User Interviews and Testing:

   • Organized and facilitated user interviews to gather insights on current pain points and desired features.
   • Conducted usability testing sessions to validate design decisions and ensure the tool met user needs.

3. Workflow Analysis:

   • Analyzed existing workflows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
   • Collaborated with stakeholders, including Mary, Bob, and Mike, to align the tool’s functionality with user requirements.

4. Frontend Development:

   • Kevin Ryan developed a robust and visually appealing frontend, ensuring seamless integration with backend systems.
   • Implemented responsive design principles to enhance accessibility across devices.

5. Media and Storytelling:

   • Lee Christofferson and our media team produced engaging videos and storytelling content to communicate the value of EscrowAI.
   • Highlighted key features and benefits, making it easier for stakeholders to understand the tool’s impact.

My Contributions

As the workshop facilitator and team manager, I played a pivotal role in:

• Team Building: Assembled a talented team of UW MHCI+D graduates, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
• Facilitation: Led workshops and brainstorming sessions, ensuring all team members contributed their expertise.
• Project Management: Coordinated project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring the project stayed on track.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Maintained open communication with BeekeeperAI stakeholders, incorporating their feedback into the design process.
